加拿大國民男友 Shawn Mendes (尚恩曼德斯) 於2020年帶著新作品〈Wonder〉回歸啦！而同名專輯《Wonder》也於同年全面推出。
在這首〈Wonder〉當中，肉眼可見 Shawn Mendes 在音樂和唱腔上的變化，回想他剛出道時爆紅的那首〈Stitches〉，就好像只是昨天的事情一樣；時光飛逝，在經歷過幾年的淬鍊，還有與 Camila Cabello 的戀情之後，他逐漸成為了一個更好的音樂人。
Shawn Mendes 究竟想「知道」什麼呢？
如果仔細研究歌詞的話，會發現「我想知道 I wonder」這個詞出現了好多好多次，那麼Shawn Mendes 到底想知道什麼呢？
Shawn 在訪問中曾經說過，這張專輯講述了更多關於「自我」的內容，從前他根本不敢寫這種赤裸裸的歌曲，一方面他認為自己還不夠成熟，一方面他也害怕大眾對他指指點點。如今更加成熟的他，在經歷過大大小小的事情之後，終於開始面對自己的心聲，將更多真正想傳達的概念放進作品中，我想這是大家都非常樂見的吧。
從這首主打歌，可以很明顯地聽到 Shawn Mendes 在音樂上的成熟，其實第一次聽的時候我有點意外，因為跟他以往的風格滿不一樣的，讓我想起當年 Harry Styles 推出〈Sign of the Times〉時的震撼。
從〈Stitches〉、〈Treat You Better〉到〈Señorita〉，再到如今的他，我們似乎也一步步見證 Shawn Mendes 的成長，期待他未來更多美好的創作，也期待他和 Camila 的愛情能有個結果，不要再讓旁人越看越不懂了XD
